This brilliant "system", for lack of a better description, was developed by Carol Tuttle, a big name in the personal development and self-help world, and she is a veteran practitioner in using energy modalities to help people dramatically change their lives. Just the awareness of the type of energy you bring to the world will literally change your life. Applying this same understanding to your family members, friends, co-workers, and anyone else you interact with is truly transformational. There is no questionnaire to fill out, it's not about defining your personality, it's simply an awareness of your true self and a tool to capitalize on your strengths and use them to your advantage.
Judith Orloff, M.D. -- Have you ever felt that you're more sensitive than the people around you? Do things bother you that don't bother others? The book contains a full alphabetical listing of physical complaints, along with the most common negative thought patterns she has observed and the positive affirmations that are helpful to replace the negative thoughts with. If you are just interested in the list, Heal Your Body A-Z provides that information without the additional information, stories and teachings.
If you need help focusing on what you want instead of what you don't want, Louise Hay's affirmation cards are really helpful. And they're beautiful, too! WIth original artwork to go along with the "power thoughts", these are nice to carry in your purse or display on your mirror. My daughter occasionally likes to shuffle through hers to see which ones really resonate with her or push her buttons, both signs that a particular affirmation is appropriate to spend some time focusing on. These are a great companion to the books above.
